Welcome Back!

I am BEYOND excited that my blog, The Daily Fab is back up and running! I received many emails wondering why the site was shut down, and honestly- I don’t know… could it be Google China or the Chinese government for all of my envelope- pushing topics?? Really I don’t know why, but building the site from scratch, locating all the previous material, and giving it a fresh new make-over have definitely not been an easy task. I have been itching at the seams of my pants to talk about all the amazing experiences, people that I have met, and topics that have been on my mind. It is exciting what this year has brought for my Business, so many wonderful adventures and new beginnings as well as some endings and closure to old relationships. The growth has been phenomenal, and I feel as if I develop everyday like transforming Butterfly.

Looking back at my life of dreams and aspirations to be a Clothing Designer, there is facade that I had built in my head about the job description, and the actual work load. I never for one second would have thought that this would be the life that I was leading! It has been such an eye opener owning a business, being an Artist, and a young developing woman at the same time. I didn’t go to Business School; I’m a Fashion Design Dropout from F.I.T!! I know that the basic talent/skills have to be there, but I sure had no idea that politics, chemistry, psychology, administration, first aid and foreign relations would all be part of my job title. This is monster- truck load for anyone to handle, let alone a sensitive artist like myself. I commend all of the Women owned businesses out there, and understand the struggles that they face every day….. especially if it is in this crazy industry!

So with this new blog format, I will bring you even MORE fabulous tidbits that I have picked up along the way. Ranging and diverse as weekly motivational play lists, to fashion recycling tips, to fantastic craft projects that you can do yourself!!! So just let that inner artist out!!! I hope that I can provide you with an outlet of all things FUN and Fabulous!!! Please drop me a line if I am missing something that you think that I need to know about! I am always wanting to learn more about fabulous finds EVERYWHERE! Also, I would like to thank the Advertisers on my page… and encourage you to check them out if you have a minute!
