The lurex fibers are loosely woven giving it a special, 3-dimensional texture that adds to the character of the garment.

Meghan's Note:  The beautiful gold fibers are loosely woven directly into the fabric, which creates the stunning shimmering effect of this garment.  Over time it is expected that those fibers loosen with wear, which adds to the character of the dress.  The fabric is designed to feel crisp, and will soften with wear and washing. For those with sensitive skin, I recommend washing before wear to soften the lurex fibers for maximum comfort.
